Sanuki udon’s  unique featuren is its chewiness. It’s soft when you put it in your mouth, and chewy when you bite into it.

There are various types of Sanuki udon such as kake udon, bukkake udon, zaru udon and kamaage udon. Bukkake udon is the most common.  It can be enjoyed  in a variety of  ways, such as with tempura or eggs, and can be eaten cold  or warm.
