Tochigi Prefecture is a "strawberry kingdom" that has kept its position as the largest producer of strawberries in Japan since 1968. The  season for strawberries in Japan is spring (around May to June), but Tochigi Prefecture uses a variety of techniques to produce high-quality, delicious strawberries that allows them to   ship strawberries from November to May.

You can enjoy Tochigi's delicious strawberries by "strawberry picking" at a strawberry garden. In Tochigi Prefecture, there are many  strawberry farms for sightseeing throughout the prefecture. When you visit Tochigi, enjoy picking strawberries until your stomach is full!
