Okinawa is known for its warm weather and beaches in summer. However, we recommend going to the forest in northern Okinawa’s Yambaru, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, in autumn. It is great for hiking and you can see many rare plants.Especially lovely is the "Heritiera Littoralis" which has a huge root that looks almost like a wall.
