Mount Aso area
Today we would like to introduce one of the best spots to see Kyushu’s autumn landscape!
Mount Aso is the perfect place for nature lovers and for those who need a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Mount Aso, the symbol of Kumamoto Prefecture, is the largest active volcano in Japan, and also one of the most active in the world currently.
The Daikanbo lookout is a spectacular viewing point overlooking the entire Aso area. It gives a good panoramic view of the town, especially on a sunny day.
This is a great place also to enjoy the stunning view of the valley and mountain range. October and November are good times to travel around.
We definitely recommend it to everyone who loves beautiful scenery!
